Das Projekt Musica Temporalis wurde von Fabian Boreck ins Leben gerufen, um seine seit der Schulzeit bestehende, intensive Beschäftigung mit Alter Musik auch kammermusikalisch in die Tat umzusetzen.

Die Programme von Musica Temporalis zeichnen sich dabei stets durch Werke für das sich ab dem Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts immer mehr solistisch entwickelnde Violoncello aus. Je nach Programm erweitert sich das Ensemble um hohe Melodieinstrumente um auch andere Werke erkunden und darbieten zu können. Im Kern besteht das Ensemble aus Fabian Boreck (Violoncello & Violoncello piccolo) sowie Tammo Wilken (Orgel).

The Sound of "Time"...

The project Musica Temporalis was initiated by Fabian Boreck in order to put into practice his intense interest in Early Music, which has existed since his school days, also in the form of chamber music.

The programmes of Musica Temporalis are always characterised by works for the violoncello, which developed more and more as a solo instrument from the end of the 17th century. Depending on the programme, the ensemble expands to include high melody instruments to explore and perform other works. The core of the ensemble consists of Fabian Boreck (violoncello & violoncello piccolo) and Tammo Wilken (organ).
